Beit Rivka Hospital is a geriatric medical center that treats functionally disabled elderly patientsand assists in preserving their ability to live in dignity. The hospital is jointly owned by Petah Tikva Municipality and Clalit Health Services treats approximately 2,500 patients annually
At the beginning of its operations in 1957, the hospital was used to treat patients suffering from prolonged illnesses and old-age-related illnesses such as cancer and dementia.
Over the years, the nature of the hospital has changed and, today, the hospital mainly treats patients undergoing rehabilitation and complex nursing patients.
Rehabilitation treatments are provided to patients recovering from strokes or fractured joints incurred because of prior disabilities.
As of today, Beit Rivka has approximately 300 hospital beds, divided among the following wards:

· Geriatric Rehabilitation Department - Pulmonology *
· Complex Nursing Department*

The hospital’s rehabilitation and treatment services are provided by an extremely professional staff, including doctors who specialize in geriatric medicine and internal medicine, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, communication therapists, dieticians, psychologists, gymnastics instructors, and special care instructors
